Travis Smith

Travis Smith is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Workiva since May 2016, Travis has held various technical roles within the company, including System Architect and Software Architect. Prior to this, Travis founded Jakentra, Inc., and served as Chief Technology Officer from May 2010 to December 2020. Experience also includes owning Zarowa Consulting and leading development efforts at DogHouse Productions Inc. Travis began the career in software development with positions at Support.com, MTS Systems Corporation, and Fisher-Rosemount. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Iowa State University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
