Olivier Theriault

Olivier Theriault has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Olivier is currently serving as the Chief Architect at WorkJam, where they lead a team responsible for the architecture of a large distributed system. Olivier establishes development and cloud infrastructure standards, plans strategic projects, and ensures continuous innovation.

Prior to WorkJam, Olivier worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Fabric, where they contributed to building an event-driven micro-fulfillment retail platform. Olivier collaborated closely with product and engineering leadership teams to ensure adherence to industry best practices and guidelines.

Before joining Fabric, Olivier gained valuable experience at SAP Customer Experience, where they held multiple roles. As a Lead Software Engineer, they helped build a cloud-native e-commerce platform and provided technical oversight to engineering teams. Olivier also served as a Senior Java Developer, working on a multi-tenant cloud-native platform and focusing on PIM, CMS, and third-party integrations.

Earlier in their career, Olivier worked at SAP Hybris as a Senior Java Developer, contributing to the development of a customer experience platform and an order management system. Olivier was involved in designing RESTful APIs and implementing the solutions using Java, Spring, and other frameworks.

Prior to SAP Hybris, Olivier worked as a Web Developer at Seresco Technologies Inc. and as a Programmer at Stiefel Laboratories.

Olivier Theriault completed a D.E.C. in Computer Science at Vanier College from 1999 to 2001. Following that, they attended CEGEP - John Abbott College where they studied Natural Sciences for a year in 2002-2003. Olivier then pursued a BEng. degree in Software Engineering at Concordia University from 2003 to 2007.
