Kim Daly has a diverse range of work experience in writing and editing. Kim began their career as a Freelance Writer for the Westchester Arts Council in 2007. In 2010, they worked as a Proofreader for Scholastic before joining Cambridge University Press in 2011 as a Production Editor. Kim later advanced to the role of Senior Production Editor at Cambridge University Press before moving to Workman Publishing in 2015 as a Copy Chief/Senior Production Editor. Kim also has experience as a Freelance Copyeditor, Proofreader, Fact-checker, Sensitivity Reader, and Writer.

Kim Daly has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters, which was obtained from McGill University. Kim attended McGill University from 2008 to 2010.

Prior to their master's degree, Kim Daly earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from Purchase College, SUNY. Kim completed their undergraduate studies at Purchase College from 2004 to 2006.
