Lisa Kolias Cooper has been working in the professional world since 1990. Lisa began their career as a Senior Account Supervisor at GreenHouse Communications in Chicago, IL. In 1993, they moved to Tassani & Paglia as a Group Account Director. Two years later, they relocated to Kansas City MO to work as an Account Supervisor at Kuhn & Wittenborn Advertising. In 1999, they were hired as a Group Advertising Manager at Sprint. In 2001, they became self-employed as a Marketing Consultant. In 2010, they joined Kemper & Company as an Account Management and Planning. In 2014, they became an Inspirational Speaker, Author, and Grief Transition Specialist, and published their book "You Are My Voice: How Love's Voice Never Dies". In 2018, they co-founded Workplace Healing, an innovator of the Human Recovery Plan Software Platform.

Lisa Kolias Cooper is currently enrolled in the UMKC Technology Ventures Studio Entrepreneur Roundtable program. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with a field of study in Advertising.
