Vita Balsyte

Vita Balsyte serves as the Development and Education Manager at World Aquatics since April 2022 and is an active member of the Sustainability and Active Society Commission for the European Olympic Committees since November 2021. With extensive experience in Olympic education, Vita has held positions such as Director of Olympic Education for the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania and participated as Olympic Attaché at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Vita's commitment to sports governance is further demonstrated through roles as a Board Member for the Lithuanian Olympic Academy and Secretary General of the Lithuanian Fair Play Committee. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Olympic Studies from the University of Peloponnese and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Economics from various institutions.
