Claudia Tay

Claudia Tay is an experienced professional in animal welfare and ethics, currently serving as Manager of the Animal Training and Welfare department at Resorts World Sentosa since August 2023. With a strong background spanning nearly a decade in various roles related to animal welfare, Claudia has held positions with organizations such as the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the Southeast Asian Zoos and Aquariums Association. Previous roles include Manager and Assistant Manager at Mandai Wildlife Group, where significant contributions were made towards advancing animal welfare standards. Claudia's academic qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Adelaide and advanced degrees in Zoological Sciences and Zoology from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and The University of Queensland, respectively. Claudia is committed to animal welfare enhancement through behavioral research, husbandry training, and educational initiatives.
