Melizsa Mugyenyi

Melizsa Mugyenyi serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the International Institute for Environment and Development and as Lead and Deputy Vice President of Strategic Engagements at World Data Lab. Additionally, Melizsa is the Chair of the Advisory Board for the African Visionary Fund and has previously held positions such as Board Member for Lwala Community Alliance and Chief Executive Officer of Graça Machel Trust, where a significant increase in the annual budget was achieved. Notable experience also includes roles at the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance, IREX, Aga Khan Foundation East Africa, World Animal Protection, and The ELMA Philanthropies. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Law, Globalisation and Development from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor’s in Politics and International Relations from The University of Sheffield.
