Nzaramba Samuel

Nzaramba Samuel is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, report writing, and the development of data collection instruments. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at World Data Lab since May 2023, Nzaramba previously held multiple roles at Laterite from January 2018 to April 2023, including Innovations Associate and Research Analyst, where contributions included cleaning and analyzing data and creating interactive dashboards with R and Shiny. Experience also includes a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University Africa from August 2016 to January 2018, offering tutoring and grading support in Data Science and Information Security, and a brief role as a Data Scientist at Thomson Reuters in early 2017, where Nzaramba led data sampling for the Bankable Farmer project. Earlier in the career, Nzaramba worked as a Software Engineer at HRP Solutions, focusing on custom NAV applications. Nzaramba holds a Master's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Data Science and Software Development from Carnegie Mellon University Africa and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Makerere University.
