Fabienne Lambert

Fabienne Lambert currently serves as the Inspector General at the World Food Programme, overseeing internal audit and investigation functions globally since September 2021. Prior to this role, Fabienne held leadership positions at various United Nations entities, including Director of the Office of Audit and Investigation Services at the United Nations Population Fund from March 2012 to September 2021, and Director of the Internal Audit and Investigations Group at UNOPS from January 2011 to March 2012. Fabienne also directed the Office of Internal Oversight Services at UNIDO from June 2003 to December 2010, implementing risk-based auditing practices. Earlier professional experience includes a role as Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton and as a Special Projects Accountant at Leica International HQ AG, along with positions in financial analysis and internal auditing at American Standard Brands and Trane. Fabienne holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Burgundy School of Business.
