World Food Programme
Marco Principi has extensive experience in research, assessment, and monitoring within the field of economics, particularly with the World Food Programme where roles include Head of Research, Assessment and Monitoring, Head of Programme, and Head of Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (VAM) and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) from June 2016 to present. Prior positions include serving as an Economist with the International Labour Organization from October 2014 to June 2016 and various Programme Policy Officer roles focused on VAM at the World Food Programme, along with earlier experience as an Economist at ILO and an intern at the United Nations. Marco Principi holds a Master of Science in Economics and Social Science from Università Bocconi and completed an exchange programme in Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Science from Università Bocconi.
