David Peeters

David Peeters has extensive work experience in the field of indirect taxes and tax compliance. david started their career at Deloitte Belgium as an Indirect Tax Manager, where they worked from 2004 to 2011. david then joined General Motors as a European VAT Planning Manager from 2011 to 2013. After that, they worked at Koch Industries as a Senior Manager Indirect Taxes and later as a Global Indirect Tax Leader from 2013 to 2021. Following their tenure at Koch Industries, they joined World Fuel Services as a Senior Director of Global Indirect Taxes from 2021 to 2022. david then moved to Ernst & Young as an Indirect Tax Managing Director in their Indirect Tax Transformation & Technology Practice from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are the VP of Global Tax at World Fuel Services since 2023.

David Peeters obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, which they attended from 1999 to 2002. david then pursued a special degree in tax, completing a Bachelor's program at Erasmushogeschool Brussel from 2002 to 2004. During the same period, from 2002 to 2004, they also obtained a Master's degree in Accounting & Controlling from Vlekho - Bruges.
