Dr. Ujjawal P S has extensive experience in public health and epidemiology, currently serving as the Senior Team Leader at the World Health Organization since October 2006. Dr. Ujjawal has played a key role in the WHO Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Programme, which focuses on transitioning polio efforts into broader public health initiatives, as well as serving as a Surveillance Medical Officer to combat diseases like polio, measles, and rubella. Previous experience includes a position as a Medical Officer with the Government of India from November 2004 to July 2006. Dr. Ujjawal's educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), and multiple degrees in public health and business administration. Currently, Dr. Ujjawal is pursuing a Certificate in Summary Statistics in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University.
