Mary Devenny

Mary DeVenny is a Membership Engagement Coordinator at the World Resources Institute since April 2023, bringing experience in community and policy engagement from previous roles. As a Community Engagement Coordinator at DC Central Kitchen, Mary focused on building community connections, while earlier work included a Policy Research Internship at the South Carolina Department of Social Services, researching food and nutrition programs. Mary's background also features a role as a Shi Institute for Sustainability Student Fellow at Furman University, supervising farm operations and promoting sustainable food initiatives. Additionally, Mary contributed to research on the impacts of COVID-19 on local food systems as an Undergraduate Researcher at Furman University.
