Kurtis Thrasher has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kurtis is currently working as the Director of Business Development at World View Space, where they oversee the development of stratollite technology for persistent observation and data collection. Prior to this, Kurtis was the owner of Squirrel Golf Apparel, where they organized golf tournaments and supported various charities. Kurtis also served as the Director of Sales - DOD at Spire, where they utilized satellite data to solve problems on Earth. Before that, Kurtis was a DoD Program Manager at MCP Computer Products Inc., providing IT solutions and services. Kurtis also volunteered as an IT Missionary, leading a project to upgrade and modernize an Indonesian hospital's IT infrastructure. Earlier in their career, Kurtis held positions such as Director West Coast Federal Sales at Computer Aid, Inc., Federal Sales and Major Accounts at Vector Resources, Senior Sales Account Executive at Cisco, and Senior Sales Representative - Government Sales at KENT DATACOMM. Kurtis has a proven track record of winning contracts, driving revenue, and establishing strategic partnerships.
Kurtis Thrasher obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Walla Walla University College from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1984, they attended Far Eastern Academy where they studied Computer Science. Kurtis also holds several additional certifications, including Introduction to Cisco Sales from Cisco obtained in December 2020, and various Certified Product Consultant certifications from Motorola Solutions, Axis Communications, The Siemon Company, and Poly.
