Claudia Soto-Neira has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Claudia started their career as a Political Reporter/Investigator for CMI TV National News segment in Colombia. Claudia then worked as a Campaign Manager/Independent Contractor for Public Affairs Associates, where they led a successful local political campaign. Claudia later joined IKEA Group, where they held various roles, including Community Relations & Recruiting Specialist, Marketing and PR Manager, and Area Marketing and PR - Hispanic Market. At the American Cancer Society, Claudia served as a Community Director, focusing on advocacy, fund development, and major gifts planning. Claudia then transitioned to KidWorks Community Development Corporation, where they held the position of Director of Marketing and Development, followed by serving as Interim President. Claudia's next role was as the Director of Community Programs at the Irvine Ranch Conservancy. Claudia'smost recent position has been with Open Doors USA, where they served as the Sr. Director of Development Support. Claudia's current role is as an Area Director of Philanthropy - Transformational Engagement at World Vision USA.
Claudia Soto-Neira earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, which they completed between 1990 and 1995. In 2008, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Long Beach, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, in 2011, Claudia obtained a certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. In 2001 and 2002, they took Integrated Marketing courses at the University of California, Berkeley. Claudia also received training from Dale Carnegie. Claudia attended Liceo Benalcazar, the details of which are unknown.
