Vann Bentley

Vann Bentley is a privacy and cybersecurity policy professional currently working at Uber since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Policy Manager at the World Wide Web Foundation from November 2021 to December 2022, and as Policy Counsel at both the Computer & Communications Industry Association and Amazon from November 2019 to November 2021 and September 2014 to November 2019, respectively. Vann also held law clerk positions at the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2014, and worked as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University Law Center in 2013. Vann Bentley earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Georgetown Law (2012-2015) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English from Vanderbilt University (2008-2012).
