Sarah Glass

Sarah Glass has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and industries. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Private Sector Engagement at the World Wildlife Fund. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) from November 2019 to November 2021. In their role at CSIS, they brought their expertise in senior policy-making to contribute to significant issues.

From 2013 to 2019, Sarah worked at USAID where they held various roles, including Acting Director of the Center for Transformational Partnerships and Director of Special Projects at the U.S. Global Development Lab. In these positions, they led private sector engagement initiatives and focused on utilizing science, technology, and innovation to accelerate development impact.

Before joining USAID, Sarah worked at Accenture as a Senior Manager in the Corporate Strategy Practice. During their time at Accenture, they advised Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries and co-led the business development team to help companies expand internationally.

Additionally, Sarah gained experience in the international development sector at Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP), where they served as a Senior Manager and Manager. At ADP, they provided consulting and technology services to organizations such as the InterAmerican Development Bank and the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition.

Sarah began their career at Merck as an MBA Intern in the marketing program, where they conducted analysis in support of sales forecasting and evaluated sales force access to physicians.

Before their corporate experience, Sarah worked in fundraising and operations roles at Ronald McDonald House Charities, where they directed fundraising activities, managed operations, and facilitated communications between guests and medical professionals.

Sarah Glass completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from William & Mary from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained an MBA degree specializing in Business from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business from 2006 to 2008.
