Rotem Aharoni Yehoshua

Rotem Aharoni Yehoshua has an extensive and diverse work experience in the field of Jewish education and community engagement. Starting in 2002, Rotem began their career as an Educational Coordinator at Camp Moshava, where they developed programming and taught Jewish content to children. They also led counselor training seminars.

In 2003, Rotem joined the Emissary Program of The Jewish Agency for Israel, serving as an emissary until 2004. They engaged with Jewish communities abroad, representing the organization and promoting Jewish identity.

From 2005 to 2006, Rotem worked for Masa Israeli, serving as a counselor, coordinator, and part of the screening team. They played a role in selecting and supporting participants in the Masa Israel programs.

Rotem then joined Bnei Akiva as an Educational Director for Machaneh Sayarim of World B'nei Akiva in 2006, where they designed the camp's educational program and trained counselors. They also served as a counselor for the European Bnei Akiva Leadership Seminar in 2005.

Rotem's commitment to Jewish education led them to The Jewish Agency for Israel again in 2006, where they became the program-training and screening coordinator for the Summer Shlichim program. They managed a team of freelancers and developed content and educational programs for the program.

In 2009, Rotem took on two roles simultaneously. They became the Coordinator of the Jerusalem District for the Noam Youth Movement, overseeing activities and engagement in the area. They also joined Camp Ramah in Canada as Co-director of Israel Programs and Jewish Studies, overseeing Israel-focused programs and Jewish education.

In 2011, Rotem became the Director of The Zionist Seminars Program at The Jewish Agency for Israel. This program aimed to strengthen students' connection to Israel and Jewish tradition through short-term seminars delivered by educators abroad.

From 2017 to 2020, Rotem served in leadership roles at the World Zionist Organization. They started as the Director of the Morim Shlichim unit, managing Israeli teachers across the globe, teaching Hebrew, Israel, and Judaism. Later, Rotem became the Executive Director, responsible for leading global education programs in Jewish communities and facilitating the placement of Israeli educators in Jewish day schools worldwide.

Overall, Rotem Aharoni Yehoshua's career has been focused on promoting Jewish education, engagement, and connection to Israel through various leadership and coordination roles in different organizations.

Rotem Aharoni Yehoshua completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Jewish Professional Studies from the same institute during the same period. In the past, Rotem Aharoni Yehoshua attended Bar-Ilan University from 2004 to 2008, however, it is unclear if they obtained a degree from there. Their studies at Bar-Ilan University focused on Education and Jewish History.
