Angela Mercado

Angela Mercado has extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Leader Manufacturing Operator Area at HeartWare Inc since 2007. In this role, Angela provides oversight to 25 direct labor employees and ensures compliance with manufacturing processes for HVAD pumps, coordinating procedures to meet high-quality standards. Prior to this, Angela worked at Cordis from 1994 to 2006 as a Line Coordinator, where responsibilities included developing manufacturing procedures for new product lines and overseeing product quality. Angela holds a high school diploma from Gimnacio Josefina Castro de Escobar and has further education from the University of Haifa in Israel.
