Leonardo Vidigal Meireles

Leonardo Vidigal Meireles has been working in the automation and IoT industry since 2005. Leonardo began their career as a Trainee Electrical Maintenance at Vale in 2005. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at Samarco as an Automation Team Leader and Automation Technician. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Consultant Industrial Automation and Automation Engineer at Warning Band. In 2019, they were an Automation Engineer at IHM Stefanini. Currently, they are a Technical Sales Specialist at Worldsensing, where they are an automation and IoT monitoring expert working to evangelize the Brazilian industry about the advantages of Loadsensing IoT technology.

Leonardo Vidigal Meireles has an educational background in Instrumentation, Control and Automation. Leonardo obtained a BS in Control and Automation Engineering from Escola De Minas in 2013. Prior to this, they obtained an Electronic Instrumentation and Process Control Technician degree from Instituto Federal de Educação Tecnológica in 2005. In 2016, they earned an MSc in Instrumentation, Control and Automation from UFOP - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Programa Conectando Pessoas e Resultados from Fundação Dom Cabral in 2015, Green Belt Lean Six Sigma from Samarco Mineração in 2014, and General English from EC English Language Centres in 2017.
