National Judge For World Skills (health And Social Care) at WorldSkills UK

Ruth Catlett is a qualified and experienced trainer and assessor with a strong background in Health and Social Care. Currently serving as a National Judge for World Skills UK since November 2023, Ruth has also worked as a Distance Marker/Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) for Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College and Boston College since January 2022 and January 2015, respectively. With extensive experience in distance marking across various educational institutions and over 20 courses, Ruth's expertise includes Health and Social Care, Early Years, and Health and Safety up to Level 3. A former Health and Social Care Course Coordinator and Lead IQA, Ruth has a proven track record of facilitating student success and progression. Additionally, Ruth has experience as a Nursing Assistant with Moray Council, providing essential support to clients transitioning from hospital care. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Health and Social Care from The Open University and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from the University of Bedfordshire.
