Ellicia Selle, CCRA, CCRP®, has over 25 years of work experience in the clinical research field. Ellicia is currently working as an Associate Director Project Management at Worldwide Clinical Trials, where they provide support and oversight for large, multi-national projects. In this role, they direct the delivery of projects within cost, time, and quality requirements, and provides functional leadership to project managers.
Prior to their current role, Ellicia worked as a Global Project Lead (GPL) at Worldwide Clinical Trials, where they were responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trials from start-up through close-out activities. Ellicia worked with major functional area leads to identify and evaluate fundamental issues on the projects and ensured successful completion of clinical trials.
Before joining Worldwide Clinical Trials, Ellicia served as a Clinical Project Manager II at ProSciento, Inc., where they led multi-site and investigator-initiated trials. Ellicia worked cross-functionally with various departments to ensure that studies were conducted per protocol and client expectations.
Ellicia also gained valuable experience as an Operations Director at ORC and as an Executive Director at I-ORI | Clinical Research Organization & Sponsor, where they supervised cross-functional teams and engaged with contract organizations to develop and complete pre-clinical and phase III & IV studies.
Earlier in their career, Ellicia worked at the University of Washington, where they held roles as a Sr. Research Scientist and as a Clinical Studies & Central Laboratory Operations Manager. Ellicia made significant contributions in reducing project expenses, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Ellicia began their career as a Sr. Microbiologist at the Washington State Department of Health, where they planned work for the division and played a key role in bringing the first WA State West Nile Virus testing online.
Ellicia's expertise and contributions have been recognized throughout their career, and they have published several scientific papers in their field. Ellicia'swork experience demonstrates their strong leadership abilities, project management skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality results in the clinical research industry.
Ellicia Selle, CCRA, CCRP®, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology Pre Med from the University of Washington. Ellicia initially transferred from Gonzaga University's Pre-Med program to UW. Ellicia completed their high school education at Gonzaga Preparatory School, where they actively participated in various extracurricular activities such as Meals on Wheels, the Big Sister Program, choir, drama, and softball. Ellicia has obtained several additional certifications, including The Art and Science of Communication from Skillsoft in 2022, Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) in 2020, Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA®) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in May 2020, and Essentials of Research Administration from the CITI Program in April 2022.
