Yumari Torres

Yumari Torres has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations. Yumari started their career at Biaggi & Messina Abogados in 2004 as a Paralegal. Afterwards, they worked at the President's Commission on the Millennium Development Goals & Sustainable Development (COPDES) from 2005 to 2007, initially as a Senior Technical Analyst and later as Deputy Director. Following that, they were employed by the United Nations Global Compact as a Deputy Manager from 2006 to 2007 and as an Advisor from 2007 to 2009. Yumari served as Minister Counselor at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores República Dominicana from 2007 to 2009 and as a Legal Advisor at the Ministerio de Educación República Dominicana from 2009 to 2011. Finally, they joined J. J. Roca & Asociados in 2007 as an Associate Lawyer and later became Chief Legal Officer at WorldWide Group in 2013.

Yumari Torres completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra from 2001 to 2005. Yumari then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Corporate Business at the same university from 2005 to 2007. Later, they enrolled at Barna Management School from 2018 to 2020, where they earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General.
