Akisa F.

Akisa F. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, consulting, and community involvement. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Ohio University since August 2023, Akisa has also led Akisa Fukuzawa Consulting as President since August 2012, providing marketing consulting and translation services. In addition to these roles, Akisa is an Executive Committee Member at Bexley DEI and serves as a Board Member/Advisor and former President of the Bexley Women's Club. As the owner of Top Shelf Japan, Akisa specializes in online sales of premium Matcha green tea and related products. Furthermore, Akisa is a Technical Commissioner for the World Baseball Softball Confederation and a Sake Sommelier at HappyStream, LLC. Involvement with the Asian American Commerce Group and leadership as President of the Columbus Women's Baseball League highlights Akisa's commitment to community engagement. Akisa's educational pursuits include a PhD in Women's Studies from Ohio University, with a preceding MSA in Sports Management and a BA in Spanish from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
