Erge Edgu-Fry

Erge Edgu-Fry, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in the field of medical research and editing, currently serving as the Scientific Editor for Neurology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston since August 2024. In addition, Erge Edgu-Fry has held the position of Managing Editor for the Journal of Investigative Medicine at the American Federation for Medical Research and for Wound Repair and Regeneration at the Wound Healing Society since December 2022 and March 2020, respectively. Previous roles include Managing Editor for the American Burn Association and Research Scientist at The University of Texas Medical Branch. Erge Edgu-Fry's earlier experience ranges from ownership and operation of StitchnSaw to engineering roles at Tietronix Software, NASA, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, as well as post-doctoral research at NIST. Education includes a PhD in Experimental Atomic Physics from Kansas State University.
