Angela Peacock

Angela Peacock has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Angela is the founder and owner of APeacock Consulting, LLC, where they work as a Psychiatric Drug Withdrawal Consultant and Healing Coach. Prior to this, Angela served as a Social Impact Consultant, providing training to small business owners and non-profit organizations on maximizing their impact on social media. Angela also led outreach campaigns for documentary films focused on social impact.

Angela has a strong background in veteran advocacy and support. Angela worked with the Wounded Warrior Project as a member of the National Campaign Team, where they served as a Peer Mentor and underwent various training programs. Angela appeared in radio, film, and print media as an advocate for veterans and utilized both local and national channels to advocate for their needs.

As a self-employed individual, Angela continued their work as a veteran advocate and speaker from 2007 to 2022.

Angela has also worked as a Therapist Intern at Mercy Professional Services and as a Student at Washington University in St. Louis, where they pursued their education.

In addition, Angela served as the Founder and President of the Student Veterans Organization at St. Charles Community College. Angela was also a student at the college, graduating with an AA degree in Psychology and achieving a 4.0 GPA.

Angela started their professional journey in the US Army, where they served from 1998 to 2004. Angela held the position of SGT (E-5) and performed duties as a Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer.

Throughout their career, Angela has demonstrated skills in advocacy, coaching, social media management, event planning, and therapy. Angela has a passion for supporting veterans and promoting social impact.
