Alexandra Coym

Alexandra Coym has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alexandra is currently working as a Staff Product Designer at Woven by Toyota, starting in July 2022. Previously, Alexandra worked at American Express as the Director - Design Systems from September 2018 to May 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at frog, including Associate Creative Director from July 2017 to September 2018, Senior Interaction Designer from April 2015 to June 2017, and Interaction Designer II from July 2014 to March 2015. Alexandra also worked as a Researcher at Microsoft Fuse Labs - Humanizing Data Research Group from September 2013 to December 2013. Alexandra started their professional career as a Digital Strategy Consultant at Virtual Identity from September 2009 to June 2012. Alexandra also worked briefly at MetaDesign as a Brand Consulting and at TBWA as Account Management und Strategic Planning in 2009 and 2008 respectively. Overall, Alexandra Coym has extensive experience in product design, design systems, creative direction, interaction design, research, digital strategy consulting, and brand consulting.

Alexandra Coym holds a Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) from New York University. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing, Media and Communications from accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg. In 2011, they completed the APE Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in August 2019.
