Carlos Andres currently holds the role of Senior Engineer - Cyber & Vehicle Security at Woven By Toyota. In this position, their responsibilities include ensuring the security and privacy of the Woven City, leading the security and privacy design for Toyota e-Palette Autonomous Vehicle, implementing and maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and conducting security audits and penetration testing. Earlier in their career, Carlos served as an Information Security Officer at Mi Plata S.A - Compañía de Financiamiento [Bank], where they were responsible for creating the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in compliance with regional regulations. Carlos Andres also founded Antai Group Ltda., a company dedicated to developing a platform for automating the deployment of IT security services in organizations. This platform is currently being used by various banks and financial institutions in Colombia.

Carlos began their professional journey as a Lead Programmer at E-Learning Solutions Ltda., where they played a key role in programming and development projects.

Carlos Andres Ramirez has a diverse educational background in the field of computer science and risk engineering. Carlos Andres began their education journey at the Universidad de Los Andes, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Ingeniero de sistemas y computación from 2003 to 2008.

In pursuit of further knowledge and skills, Carlos enrolled at the University of Tsukuba from 2012 to 2014, where they completed a Master's Degree in Risk Engineering. Carlos Andres then proceeded to The University of Tokyo for research purposes from 2015 to 2016, focusing on Computer Science.

Seeking to deepen their expertise, Carlos returned to the University of Tsukuba and is currently pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Risk Engineering, which began in 2022 and is expected to conclude in 2025.

Throughout their educational journey, Carlos has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications.
