Daniel Jartoux

Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings

Daniel Jartoux has worked as an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Woven Planet starting in 2021. Prior to that, they were a Team Leader and R&D Engineer at NAVYA TECHNOLOGY from 2015 to 2021, where they managed an agile team and developed algorithms for real-time localization using LiDARs, IMU/INS, GNSS, and cameras. Daniel also worked on map-matching and sensor fusion algorithms in various environments. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant at the CNRS-AIST Joint Robotics Laboratory, where they focused on global optimization of the dynamic motion of the humanoid robot HRP2, implementing collision masks and generating super-ellipsoids to modelize robot parts.

Daniel Jartoux completed their Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Tokyo from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they pursued a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at ISAE-SUPAERO. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the JLPT N2 certification in June 2014 from the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services institution.
