Hans-Peter Loeb

Hans-Peter Loeb has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Hans-Peter started their career as an intern and system developer at Siemens I&S Karlsruhe in 2004. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Infineon as a Systems Engineer and Doctoral Candidate, focusing on their Ph.D. program.

Loeb then joined Cadence Design Systems in 2011 and held various roles, including Lead Application Engineer, Principal Application Engineer, and Sr. Principal Solutions Engineer. In these positions, they worked on developing solutions and products for advanced virtual prototypes and pre-silicon verification of multicore SoCs. Hans-Peter also played a key role in architecture development and modular framework design for virtual prototyping.

In 2018, Loeb transitioned to Lyft and worked as an Engineering Manager, leading the Embedded Software team at Lyft Level 5, the autonomous vehicle division. Hans-Peter managed projects related to firmware development for automotive ECUs and played a crucial role in developing projects for motion control and vehicle safety.

Currently, Loeb is working at Woven by Toyota as a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Platform & Cloud SW team. Hans-Peter is responsible for rapid prototyping, benchmarking next-generation features, and providing technical leadership to improve developer velocity and evaluate software stacks and architectures.

Hans-Peter Loeb completed their undergraduate education at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1998 to 2005. During this time, they obtained a degree in Computer Science (Dipl.-Inf.).

Following their undergraduate studies, Hans-Peter Loeb pursued further education at Bielefeld University from 2006 to 2010. There, they completed their doctoral degree in Computer Engineering (Dr.-Ing.).

Additionally, Hans-Peter Loeb had a brief educational experience at York University from 2002 to 2003. Though no degree is specified, they studied Computer Science and Physics during this time.
