Hirofumi Yamamoto

Hirofumi Yamamoto has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and autonomous driving. Hirofumi is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Toyota Research Institute from May 2021 to May 2022 in the same role. From February 2018 to May 2021, Hirofumi worked at DENSO International America Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer for Autonomous Driving. In this role, they led a design project of a vehicle control interface module for autonomous driving and applied various safety analysis methods to identify hazards and safety requirements. Before joining DENSO International America Inc., they worked at DENSO as a Senior Software Engineer for ADAS from April 2015 to December 2017 and as a Senior Research Engineer for Automotive Electronics from February 2010 to March 2015. Hirofumi's early career includes roles at Texas Instruments, where they worked as a System Engineer for Power Management IC from September 2008 to January 2010 and as a DSP Design Engineer from April 2003 to September 2008.

Hirofumi Yamamoto completed their Master's degree in Communications and Computer Engineering from Kyoto University, from 1997 to 2003.
