Jay Jacinto

Jay Jacinto has a diverse work experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. From 2023 onward, they will be working as the Manager of Vehicle Test Engineering at Woven by Toyota. Prior to this, they held various managerial positions at Rivian, including Manager of Diagnostic System Test and Validation and Test and Validation Lead for the Diagnostic System team. Before Rivian, Jay worked at Zoox as a Firmware Validation Engineer and Systems Engineer. Jay also worked at BYTON as a Senior Systems Engineer focusing on ADAS. Jay's earlier experience includes roles at Tesla Motors as a Senior Systems Engineer for Vehicle Diagnostics and at Space Systems Loral as a Staff Firmware Engineer and Senior Firmware Engineer. At Space Systems Loral, they led the development and implementation of embedded control software projects and served as the focal point for subsystem coordination. Jay also participated in design and development activities, formulation and analysis of software requirements, and the design and validation of custom laboratory equipment/simulators.
