Kazumasa Wakamori has work experience dating back to 2017. Kazumasa started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Wantedly, Inc. for a short period, working on improving on-device image processing and machine learning for a business card scanner app.

In 2016, they joined Shizuoka University as an Assistant Researcher, where they worked on academic research projects related to AI for agricultural applications. Kazumasa developed a novel machine-learning technique for multimodal time-series data and published academic papers as a first author.

From 2019 to 2023, Kazumasa worked at Yahoo! JAPAN as a Software Engineer in the data platform division. Here, they developed software libraries for user activity data collection from an iOS app.

Currently, they are a Runtime Framework Engineer at Woven by Toyota, starting in 2023.

Kazumasa Wakamori completed their education at Shizuoka University focusing on Computer Science. Kazumasa first obtained a Bachelor of Informatics degree from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Informatics degree from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained certifications in TOEIC L&R 800 from ETS and TOPIK, Test of Proficiency in Korean - Level 2 from the National Institute for International Education (NIIED).
