Miguell Malacad

Miguell Malacad has a diverse work experience history. Miguell started their career at Purdue University as a Fitness Consultant, where they enforced policies and procedures, ensured customer satisfaction, and maintained safety in the fitness facility. Miguell then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they organized and tested research surveys and programmed exergame concepts. Miguell then moved on to Lattice Semiconductor, where they served as a Product Engineer. In this role, they performed bench-level characterization and developed designs on Verilog. Additionally, they led automation projects to reduce characterization time. Currently, Miguell works as a Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota since 2019, where they are involved in software development.

Miguell Malacad completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University from 2012 to 2016. In 2018 to 2019, they attended the Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute - SNG to study Japanese Language and Literature. Before that, from 2008 to 2012, they obtained their High School Diploma from The American School in Japan. Miguell also holds several additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in June 2021 and February 2020, respectively. Miguell also holds JLPT N2 (日本語能力試験 2級) certification from JAPAN EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES AND SERVICES JEES, which they obtained in January 2020.
