Othmane Tamri

System Test Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings

Othmane Tamri has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Othmane started their career as a Battery Test Engineer at TÜV Rheinland AG in 2013, where they were responsible for implementing and managing new tests, equipments, and machines in the laboratory. In 2015, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Honeywell, where they simulated a virtual Turbocharger sensor and developed engine control solutions for ECU.

In 2016, Othmane joined Alps Electric as an Automotive Mechanical Design Engineer, where they reviewed customer 2D drawings and requirements for CAD design, modeled EGR and SAS cases and terminals, and conducted DFMEA and FTA testing. Othmane then moved to Valeo in 2018 as a System Validation Engineer, where they developed and maintained system test requirements, maintained test vehicles and performed SW reprogramming, and undertook HIL and vehicle validation activities.

Othmane joined Aptiv in 2018 as a System Engineer, responsible for system engineering activities. Othmane then took on the role of Validation Lead in 2021, where they led a global/local technical team, conducted customer-oriented activities, and supervised validation activities such as test drives and report creation.

Currently, Othmane is working at Woven by Toyota as a System Test Engineer. Othmane'sresponsibilities include building, implementing, and maintaining databases and BI tools, implementing improvements to ETL processes and data, and serving as a Scrum Master within an Agile team.

Othmane Tamri's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Othmane completed their undergraduate studies in 2012.

In the following year, from 2011 to 2012, Othmane attended DTU - Technical University of Denmark on an exchange program, focusing on Mechanical Engineering.

Continuing their education, Othmane returned to EPFL, where they obtained a Master's degree in Energy. This program ran from 2012 to 2015.

In 2014, Othmane participated in the Engineering Summer Program at Tohoku University, specializing in Advanced Robotics. This program lasted for one year.

Overall, Othmane Tamri's educational journey encompasses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by an exchange program, a Master's degree in Energy, and a specialized summer program in Advanced Robotics.
