Shingo Omura

Shingo Omura has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shingo is currently employed at Woven by Toyota as a Senior Software Engineer. Previously, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, Author, and Translator, where they translated the Typeclassopedia into Japanese. Shingo also worked at Preferred Networks, Inc. as a Software Engineer and at O'Reilly Media as a Program Committee Member for the Strata Data Conference. At ChatWork, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer in the CTO Office and led a project to migrate the core messaging service to a distributed and fault-tolerant system. Shingo also implemented a modern CI/CD pipeline. Shingo served as a Program Committee Member for ICAICT 2016 and at OGIS International Inc., they worked as a Researcher and a Software Architect, focusing on cloud integration, SOA consulting, and modeling for semiconductor manufacturing processes. Additionally, Shingo pursued their Ph.D. at Nagoya Institute of Technology.

Shingo Omura earned their Master's degree in Information Engineering from the Nagoya Institute of Technology, studying from 2002 to 2004.
