Shota Sakaguchi

Shota Sakaguchi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shota began their career at Toyota North America as a Trainee in 2015. In 2019, they joined Woven by Toyota as a Senior Engineer, where they developed various applications and managed a K8s environment. Shota then moved to UPSIDER, Inc. in 2022 as a Freelance worker. Prior to this, they worked at Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd. from 2013 to 2021, starting as a Project Development Manager and later becoming a Senior Software Engineering. During their time at Toyota Auto Body, they led the development of a global authentication/authorization platform and managed the development and standards of B-to-B web applications.

Shota Sakaguchi completed their education in the field of Information Technology. They obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from Osaka University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Engineering from Osaka University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Shota Sakaguchi has obtained various certifications. They are a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) from The Linux Foundation, achieved in July 2022 and April 2022, respectively. They have also earned the Oracle Certified Java Programmer, Gold SE 11 (Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Programmer) certification in November 2021, and the Oracle Certified Java Programmer, Silver SE 11 certification in August 2021. Furthermore, Shota Sakaguchi holds the AWS Solution Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in October 2019. They have also completed a Machine Learning course from Coursera, but the month and year of completion are not specified.
