Takuya Fujiki is a Senior Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings since January 2021. In this role, they have been responsible for developing a feature for Toyota Advanced Drive system that detects harsh cut-in vehicles in low speed, congested traffic. Their tasks include design, implementation, vehicle testing, and log-based simulation development.

Prior to their current role, Takuya worked as an Engineer at Toyota Research Institute - Advanced Development from January 2019 to December 2020. Here, they were involved in developing software for an automated driving system for Personal Owned Vehicles (POV). Their responsibilities included defining feasible system requirements and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Before joining Toyota Research Institute, Takuya worked as an Engineer at トヨタ自動車株式会社 (Toyota Motor Corporation) from April 2014 to December 2018.

In 2012, Takuya had a Summer Internship at Armagh Observatory.

Takuya Fujiki holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Kyushu University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. Takuya later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Flow Physics at the same university, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014.
