Ed Daroza

Ed Daroza has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ed started their career as a Software Developer Intern at Intel Corporation in 1996. Ed then transitioned into a role of Senior Software Engineer at Intel, which they held for nearly 19 years until 2016. In 2017, they joined Starbucks as a Senior Data Scientist and later was promoted to the position of Data Scientist Lead Manager. Currently, Ed holds the role of Principal Data Scientist at Starbucks, starting from May 2022.

Ed Daroza has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. Ed also holds a Data Science Certification from Galvanize - Seattle, Pioneer Square. Additionally, Ed has obtained certifications in Introduction to Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, Introduction to SQL, Python Fundamentals, The Sequel to SQL, and Try SQL from institutions such as Pluralsight and Code School.
