Tony Franzone

Tony Franzone is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in engineering and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Engineer at WPX Energy since June 2007, Tony supervises the production and maintenance of 1,000 plunger lift natural gas wells and writes workover procedures to ensure best practices and environmental compliance. In prior roles, Tony has held positions as a Senior Drilling Engineer at WPX Energy, where responsibilities included supervising pad drilling rigs and designing wells using advanced software. Tony began the career as a Drilling Engineer at Oxy and has gained valuable experience through intern and engineering roles at Williams, SN3, IT Corp, and Platte River Constructors. Tony holds a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Restoration and Hazardous Waste Management, and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology from Colorado Mesa University.
