Matthew Schliebe

Matthew Schliebe has a range of work experience in the field of ecology and environmental research. Matthew worked as a Biologist at WRA, Inc., where they conducted wetland assessments, field surveys for plant and animal species, and mapping projects. Prior to this, Matthew worked at CSULB - Stream Ecology and Assessment Laboratory, where they held multiple roles including Laboratory Supervisor, Taxonomist, and Stream Ecologist. Matthew also served as a Subcontract Manager at Aquatic Bioassay and Consulting Laboratories, overseeing a team for bioassessment projects. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked as a Laboratory Assistant - Intern at the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project.

Matthew Schliebe holds a Master of Science - MS degree in Biology from California State University, Long Beach, which they acquired from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biology - Ecology from the same university between 2006 and 2011. Matthew also has additional certifications, including Basic Wetland Delineation from the Wetland Training Institute, Inc., obtained in February 2018, and California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) - Riverine from the California Wetland Monitoring Workgroup, obtained in March 2013.
