Heather Tamol has over 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing. Heather began their career in 1994 as a Sports Reporter/Features Assistant for the Times Herald Record. Heather then joined the Martin PR/The Martin Agency as an Account Coordinator, working with various brands on media relations and special events. In 1997, they joined Wray Ward Laseter as a Senior Account Manager, where they handled public relations activities for clients such as Glen Raven and WIX Filters. Heather was later promoted to Account Manager and expanded their skill set to include corporate and crisis communications. In 2000, they served as the Director of Special Projects, Public Relations for IMG/Muhleman Marketing. Heather then returned to Wray Ward in 2002 as a Public Relations Account Supervisor and eventually became a Public Relations Account Director, managing strategic planning and account management for brands like Belgard Hardscapes and Gerber Childrenswear. Since 2014, they have been working at Wray Ward as the Public Relations/Content Marketing Group Director, overseeing the agency's PR/Content team and providing clients with solutions for using different media to reach their target audiences.
Heather Tamol completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric Literature at Binghamton University from 1988 to 1992. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations at Rowan University from 1992 to 1994.
