Ed Reams

Ed Reams has a diverse work experience in the field of journalism and broadcasting. Ed is currently serving as the Vice President & General Manager at WREX-TV since May 2021. Before that, they worked as the News Director at WKOW ABC 27 from September 2014 to May 2021. From September 2011 to September 2014, Ed Reams held the position of Assistant News Director at WISN-TV. Prior to that, they worked as a News Director at WHSV - TV / Gray Television from August 2006 to August 2011. Ed also gained experience as a Reporter / Anchor at WDSU-TV from December 1998 to August 2006. Ed Reams began their career at 11Alive, where they served as a Reporter / Photojournalist / Producer from 1994 to 1998. Ed also worked as a Reporter / Photojournalist at WLFL - TV / Raleigh, WSLS Newschannel 10, and WHSV - TV / Gray Television in different time periods. Ed started their career as a News / Consumer Intern at WAVY-TV 10 from May 1991 to November 1991.

Ed Reams received their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism - Public Relations from Radford University, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. In 2007, they completed a Leadership program at the Carole Kneeland Project. Additionally, in 2008, they attended the Poynter Institute's Leadership Academy for a short duration.
