Amita Ganesh has gained a diverse range of work experience. In 2022, they worked as the Head Culture Editor and Director of Operations at WRGW District Radio, where they also hosted a show called Underground Sounds. Amita also held roles at Camp Kesem at the George Washington University, serving as an Alumni Marketing & PR Coordinator and a Summer Camp Counselor and Unit Leader. In 2023, Amita interned at the U.S. House of Representatives, first as a Press Intern and then as a Congressional Intern. Amita was also involved with Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, holding positions as a Membership Development and Leadership Engagement Specialist and a Diamond-Heist Philanthropy Co-Chair. Additionally, Amita worked as a Writer and Reporter for GW-TV: The George Washington University Television and as a Digital Director for Prairie Roots Kansas. Amita has also been a Reporter for The GW Hatchet and held roles within The George Washington University Student Association. Prior to these experiences, Amita worked as an Election Worker at the Johnson County Election Office. Amita previously interned on The Zodiac Zone at WRGW District Radio.
Amita Ganesh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Communication and American Studies from The George Washington University from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Blue Valley Northwest High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma between 2017 and 2021.
