Shyla Koons

Shyla Koons currently serves as the Director of Academic Affairs for the Student Government Association at Wright State University, a position held since August 2024. In addition to this role, Shyla has been working at The Home Depot since February 2023 as a Cashier and specialist in appliances, paint, and gardening. Shyla also contributes to Wright State University Athletics as a Marketing and Promotion Student Employee and Sports Information Assistant. As the President of the Raj Soin College of Business Dean's Student Advisory Board from February 2023 to September 2024, Shyla demonstrates leadership in academic governance. Prior experience includes serving as Bartender Manager at Spinozas Pizza & Spirits from March 2021 to April 2022, showcasing multitasking capabilities. Shyla Koons is pursuing a degree in International Business from Wright State University, set to graduate in April 2024, having previously attended Sinclair Community College.
