Paul Brunner

Paul Brunner is a Theatre Design Specialist at Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Inc. since October 2023, focusing on designing rigging and theatrical systems for performing arts centers. Prior to this role, Paul served as Business Development Manager at Thern, Inc. from June 2019 to November 2023, managing distributor networks, developing product solutions, and engaging with theatre consultants and architects. Paul was an Advisory Council Member for ETCP and Secretary on the Board of Directors for USITT from July 2017 to June 2023. Earlier experience includes leading theatre technology at Indiana University Bloomington and serving as Technical Director for both Opera & Ballet Theatre and Assistant Professor positions at Indiana University South Bend and Oklahoma State University. Paul holds an MFA in Theatre Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in History & Theatre from Southwest Minnesota State University.
