Carl Mitchell

Carl Mitchell is an experienced news producer with a solid background in broadcast journalism. Since November 2018, Carl has been producing the 6 AM hour of "Good Morning Indiana" at WRTV, where collaboration with co-producers and a diverse team of professionals is central to daily operations. Prior experience includes producing top-rated newscasts at WAFF from December 2016 to November 2018 and overseeing various newscasts at WTWO/WAWV between May 2014 and December 2016, including breaking news coverage. Additionally, Carl started as a Weekend Production Assistant at WTHI-TV, managing essential equipment for live broadcasts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Indiana State University, completed in 2014.
