Marissa Sulek

Marissa Sulek is an experienced news reporter currently working at WSMV since November 2020. Prior to this role, Marissa served as a multimedia journalist, reporter, and fill-in anchor at WQAD-TV from July 2018 to October 2020. Marissa's diverse background includes reporting for Fighting Illini Productions HD and serving as a sideline reporter for Big Ten Network Student U. Leadership roles have included serving as Panhellenic Council President and chapter president for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Marissa also has experience in strategy and investment through an internship at Starcom, and customer service roles at Entertainment Cruises Inc. Marissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by minors in Communications and Public Relations.
