Shelby Lee Havel

Shelby Lee Havel is a Graduate Research Student at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences with a focus on Molecular Biology. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Microbiologist at Analytical Laboratories Inc., analyzing food and water samples for pathogens, and contributing as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at both Albig Research Lab and de Graaff Research Lab, where involvement in various research projects and discussions enhanced critical thinking and analytical skills. Shelby also worked as a Resident Assistant at Boise State University, facilitating first-year students' transition to college life while completing a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
