Gerhard Zehetmaier has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Gerhard began their career as a Scientific Assistant at the Technical University of Munich, where they worked from 1999 to 2006. Gerhard then joined Bilfinger Construction, now part of the Implenia Group, as a Design Manager and Structural Engineer from 2006 to 2009. Gerhard continued their career at CJV E18 Grimstad-Kristiansand as a Construction Manager and Planning Coordinator from 2007 to 2009. In 2012, they moved to Bilfinger as Head of Corporate Technology & Development until 2016. Zehetmaier then joined WTM Engineers GmbH Hamburg as the Head of Civil Engineering in 2016 before becoming the Managing Partner at WTM Engineers GmbH in 2018, where they currently work.
Gerhard Zehetmaier pursued their education in engineering, specializing in construction engineering. From 1994 to 1999, they attended the Technical University of Munich, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Bauingenieurwesen (civil engineering). Following this, they furthered their studies at the same university and obtained a doctorate in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) with a focus on Konstruktiver Ingenieurbau - Massivbau (structural engineering in solid construction) from 1999 to 2006.
